Spiritual Shifting has everything to do with the part of you that is made up of love and light.
A SPIRITUAL SHIFT Involves Two Kinds of Meaningful Shifts.
The first spiritual shift happens when you move in a direction that brings more love & light into your life AND just as important, the second shift is when you become aware that it’s happening.
Very often, you’ll experience the first shift without realizing that it’s happened and then later on, sometimes days, months, or years later, you’ll notice the shift.
A simple example would be a situation where you find yourself reacting differently. For instance, observing yourself taking the high road and waiting to respond instead of reacting.
THIS IS A MASSIVE SHIFT if that wasn’t your usual pattern of behavior.
When is the last time you noticed a spiritual shift?
First, you must know that noticing and observing is only possible if you’re aware of NOW.
Thinking of the future or the past filters out the present.
Of course, it’s still there waiting for you to notice but you’re blocking it…like a dark cloud blocks the sun.
The past and future are dark clouds because you’re not fully alive if you’re unaware of the present moment.
Because every time you notice a shift…you HEAL all the yuck…such as trauma, stress, pain, or relationship BS.
Here’s another example from my own life:
One “skill” I have is that I can physically and mentally do many things at once…I should have been a race car driver because I have an awareness of many things happening at once, including the intention of other people.
Where this comes in handy is with cooking or navigating my family’s travel, tours, and accommodation while changing countries or cities every four to eight days for four months straight.
I’m part of a traveling family which means that our home is on the road while we travel and we store everything we own while out on our adventures. We only ever plan the first city and country. The rest is all wanderlust.
So yeah. I can do 7 things sideways, all at once. BUT these days, I do so only when the situation calls for it, like for traveling mishaps or an emergency something something.
Now, a lot of people want to know why I don’t capitalize more on those skills.
Yeah. I learned that lesson. It’s called burnout.
Burnout & Spiritual Alignment Are Not Compatible
My deeper response is that for me, those kinds of skills of mine are for short bursts where I have to use them and that’s it.
Otherwise, I instantly feel the pain of being out of sync with my soul not to mention, my intuitive and psychic skill sets. I would have never discovered that I can talk to spirits if I had been the busy bee and perfectionist that I once was.
As you step into spiritual alignment with what your soul wants and needs, you’ll be leaving behind some familiar parts of yourself too.
It’s a process and along the way, you’ll drop some patterns of behavior and step away from ways of being that no longer feel natural. And then one day not long from now, you’ll be looking out at the ocean, playing with your kids, or looking into your cereal bowl, and you’ll get the chills down your back and realize, I sure have changed.
This is truly a spiritual shift and you’ll know when you know.
Where’s the SPIRITUAL shift in slowing down?
Once I slowed down, my life transformed into deeper experiences on every level. And yours will too.
For example:
- I cook slowly…
- I travel slowly…
- I parent slowly…TRUTH: When I can.
- I walk the beach slowly…
I made the changes subconsciously, BUT when I noticed the change, the spiritual shift came.

Your Energy Shifts & Changes In Frequency As Your Behavior & Thoughts Change
Even now, if I operate too fast, my higher self and my guides put forward Foghat’s lyrics, “Slow ride -Take it easy”, across my lips in the form of a song and BOOM I am back in the now – living deeper in the first hand knowing of love and light.
Your higher self (soul) will take care of you but this all works a lot better if the physical, intellectual part of you helps out by living in the now in order to notice the new fullness of life that comes with each of your spiritual shifts.
Cheers to your next spiritual shift.
